About Me
Marcy Pedzwater, Ph.D.
My name is Marcy, and I am a bilingual educational consultant. I hold a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since 2013, I have been providing educational services, most recently at Vanderbilt University.
My experiences as an instructor, tutor, and instructional designer have given me a privileged lens into the world of higher education. I have taught Spanish and English courses at UNC-Chapel Hill, where I also worked as a coach at the Writing Center and as a tutor for the Athletic Support Program for Student Athletes. I was a senior instructional designer at Vanderbilt University, where I helped develop the institution's instructional design strategy from the ground up.
I stay up to date with the latest developments in higher education, technology, and pedagogy in order to translate research-based insights into actionable strategies. I work closely with clients to understand their needs, goals, and constraints. When you work with me, you can rest assured that the final product will reflect your unique voice and identity.
